Lynn F. Silbiger
Lynn F. Silbiger is Of Counsel with Berkes Crane Santana & Spangler LLP. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Arizona State University and her J.D. from Loyola Law School – Los Angeles. At graduation from Loyola, she received the Alumni Association Award for Outstanding Service to School and Community. She is admitted to practice before all State and Federal Courts in California and Nevada.
Ms. Silbiger has developed specialties in complex toxic tort litigation, product liability and general civil litigation. Her current primary focus is the defense of companies against claims involving exposure to asbestos and other toxic substances. While her primary practice is in California and Nevada, Ms. Silbiger has assisted in defense of cases in Arizona, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Pennsylvania, Texas, and Washington.
In addition to issues pertaining to toxic tort litigation, Ms. Silbiger has expertise in a variety of technical areas relating to automobiles, aircraft, and personal/home electronics; experience in FELA litigation; and, has advised clients on new developments in the law regarding product liability, safety, advertising, warnings, new product development, and procedural issues. She has developed strong negotiation skills and has favorably resolved many high profile cases, including pre-litigation matters. She has also been called upon by clients to develop litigation manuals, document collections, technical databases, and presentations.
Ms. Silbiger has achieved an AV Preeminent rating from Martindale Hubbell, its highest rating for superior level of legal ability and adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability and diligence. She was selected as a Southern California Rising Star, a Southern California Super Lawyer in 2013-2021, a Top 50 Women: 2016-2018 Southern California Super Lawyer, and as a Super Lawyers Top Women Attorney for 2021. She has memberships with the California State Bar Association and Nevada Bar Association.
Ms. Silbiger has provided volunteer legal services through several non-profit organizations and has been an active fundraising volunteer for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Circle X Ranch Foundation.
